CVIA Serving at Shelter 2012On Friday, June 15th CVIA members participated in what has become an annual “Cook and Serve” volunteer project for the Shelter for the Homeless. Three CVIA members cooked macaroni and meatballs, made garlic bread, and prepared salad and brownies for dessert. Longtime CVIA member Jay Fountain generously opened his home again to members to cook and prepare the meal. The food was then brought to the Shelter where three volunteers served the meal to over 30 men. CVIA plans to do this again for the Shelter sometime before the end of the year.
